• Life Time achievement Award in Nephrology by the Indian Society of Nephrology (N.Z) on 23rd Jan.2015 for his immense contribution to the growth of Nephrology.
• Honoured by His Holiness The Dalia Lama for his dedicated work in the field of Kidney transplantation.
• Awarded National Health Leadership Award in August, 2016.
• Arogya Ratna Award by Arogya Darpan National Health Magazine for the year 2019.
• Dr. Mishra is a member of the Divine Life Society, Rishikesh for the last 35 years. He is at present a member on the board of management of the society.
