She went on to pursue her MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the same institution, graduating with the second rank in the university. She also served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospital, Kolkata.
