Dr. Asit Arora’s journey in medicine began at Kasturba Medical College in Mangalore, Karnataka, where he completed his MBBS in 2003. His pursuit of excellence led him to SMS Medical College in Jaipur, where he obtained his post-graduation in General Surgery in 2007. A keen interest in gastrointestinal surgery prompted him to further specialize by enrolling at the G.B. Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research in New Delhi, culminating in an M.Ch. In Surgical Gastroenterology in 2012.

Dr. Arora’s professional path has been as impressive as his academic credentials. After joining the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) in New Delhi as an Assistant Professor, he was quickly promoted to Associate Professor of HPB Surgery, serving until 2017. His commitment to advancing the field led him to establish the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology and GI Oncosurgery at Dharamshila Narayana Super Speciality Hospital, where he worked as a Senior Consultant until December 2019. Currently, he serves as the Director & Head of the Division of GI & HPB Oncology at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, Gurugram, and at Max Smart.
